Frutti Battaglio - Litchi

Lychee <

The Litchi Chinensis originally comes from China but is now known all over the western world, often with alternative names such as "chinese cherry" or "desert grape".

Lychees are berries with a hard, creased red shell; inside, the pulp is very similar to that of the grapes we know, both in shape and taste: white-hued, translucent, fleshy and very sweet.

Lychees are easy to eat! You can easily peel the skin off with your hands, and then enjoy the pulp with a spoon, but watch out for the large stone! .

They are perfect au naturel for a quick dessert, as well as perfect ingredients for refreshing drinks and desserts.
